The first time I visited NYC was a day just like today in 2001: green trees, warm but not too hot and not yet smelly. We walked all around the east village. There used to be book vendors all over just selling random fiction books. No iphones, just sms and loose plans to meet at a certain time & place.

As if this hasn't been the case for decades. Apple earbuds with the cords used to be a quasi-status symbol when they came out. There were even goofy articles about gimmicks like hipsters plugging into each other's ipods to see what the other was listening to.

Ok here is what I want. There used to be this website called "hot or not" where anyone could upload a photo (of themselves) and other users would vote on a scale of 1-10 how hot the person was. Then you got your score back when you got enough votes. Let's make this but for nfts. You can send your nfts to this app and then vote or rank other uploaded nfts. There's a leaderboard showing the "hottest" nfts someone has uploaded. You have to own the nft in order to add it for ranking. Over time we'd start to see which specific nfts voters covet most. Feel free to add on token rewards on top of this somehow. Perhaps based on voting participation and/or ranking of submitted nfts.

Yes and then optionally merge the result back into the main conversation. I've noticed that Gemini and chat gpt have gotten better at cross referencing other chats tho so maybe this isn't needed so much any more.
