Is there a set of norms for migrating a DAO/NFT project from mainnet to an L2, like tokens should remain but be locked, or be burned (if possible)?

I think I'd like to move Shiny.Club to an L2 like Base, but unclear how to deal with legacy NFTs. Should the old contacts be paused and essentially locked in place?

And should the L2 pick up where the L1 contact left off, or start fresh?

So you can continue to use (transfer, sell, & reconfigure) your L1 tokens?

Would you want the new entity to start from zero again?

Maybe freeze minting on L1 and spin up the L2 as a new entity.
