Solitary Reflection

Besides the dark and colorless canvas of life, I stand. Behind me, a wall of solitude stands tall, a wall constructed from emotions that sometimes become overwhelmingly heavy. A wall that has, until now, reached above me, separating me from the outside world. I feel infinitely lost in this solitude, at times even feeling as if I no longer exist.

Solitude, separation, loneliness, isolation,
and all of them are cunning demons.
Our only weapon against them is understanding.
I won't let their twisting hands hold me down.
