The Woman in the Yard 6/10 Spooky, jump-scares, serious DISCLAIMER: insinuates harm to animals and children, suicidal ideations

Haven’t watched the new season yet, but this is easily one of my favs. An interesting take on a rugby team surviving the wilderness after a planet crash, sound familiar?? If you’ve never seen Society of the Snow I highly recommend a watch.

Nickle Boys 5/10 Honestly a pretty tough watch. Depicts mid-century racism, abuse, multiple mid-scene cuts, but very little on-screen violence (which occurs off-screen)

The Brutalist 5/10 Graphic sex scenes, SA, drug use, disappointing ending (for such a long movie)

I have a true crime obsession so I had to watch these. “Woman of the Hour” really hooked me in and has a satisfying ending. Watcher beware: It’s not super accurate. “American Murder: Gabby Petito” was a good one to watch, even for those of us who are already familiar with the story.

Sing Sing 10/10 Probably my favorite Oscar contender this year. Such an incredible story with a wonderful, heartwarming ending. One of the only 10/10’s I’ve posted.

The Monkey 7/10 I’m a huge fan of Stephen King so I was really excited for this one. Comic deaths, unserious, good music, campy thrills
