Lost things.

How have you lost things and what happened to them? 

I lost a bracelet that was very special to me. I was sure I had kept it in a safe spot  but it vanished. I searched everywhere, even places I wouldn't normally keep it. To this day, I have no idea where it went.
The most curious loss was my passport during a trip. I had it while boarding but couldn’t find it at the destination. Panic set in. Later, I discovered it in the wrong pocket of my bag folded in with a map. The relief was overwhelming.
