I deeply wish likes and mints were not two different things still, or at least weren’t recorded in a disjointed way Every time I post art, I get some likes and no mints or some mints and no likes. I’ve never cared about the value of my art, so the people that like OR mint my stuff I imagine are both just conveying that they thought what I posted was cool for a moment. But i’m curious what people think about when they consciously do one or the other, or if they don’t think about the distinction at all

Minting for me is a deeper sign of respect & support than a like which is more of an I see you. I kinda like these as different things likes as a type of ‘pre-mint’. Everything but ownership & funds to the creator.
