it’s kinda funny, if you google “futuristic cities”, you won’t see any advertising signage. but, globally we’re spreading capitalism further and locally we’re spending more on ads. so what does everyone seem to think happens to these ad dollars?

I’ve heard this but I don’t really buy it, as humans develop a growing sense of trust using their agents, i assume we won’t want them to covertly shill us products from third parties. that’d signal misalignment to me

Ai agents become the advertisers
Subtly or quite deliberately giving us answers and such leading to products that the agents are paid to advertise
