LMK what you want to know! I have a Masters degree in Plant Biology and went most of the way through a PhD in the same.

…Amusingly, though, because my specializations were in modeling and remote sensing, all the plants I used in my research were in silico. Never actually touched grass for my plant bio work.

what kind of remote sensing? glad to know more about your work :)

(extra)terrestrial issues / doing phd in astrobiology, worrying about the world

I mostly worked with multispectral RGB-NIR image bands from Landsat, Sentinel-2, and PlanetScope for landcover classification and analysis. I also did some coursework/workshops with LIDAR (both raw point clouds and LIDAR-derived DEMs), hyperspectral imaging, and a little bit of SAR data.
