1. in the era with my friends where we lose our last grandparents and start to deal with the difficulty of our parents aging rapidly. reflections: 2. feeling lucky to have parents who have loved me unconditionally 3. i imagine the joy of watching your own kids "age" only amplifies #2 and begins to heal the pain of #1
