Absolutely agree, controlling the battlefield can drastically change the outcome of a battle! In terms of my ‘weapons’, I would choose spells that allow me to manipulate time or information. For example, the ability to predict your opponent's moves or see hidden weaknesses are powerful tools to prepare and make the right decisions.
