Different kinds of wallet<>dapp connectors:
1. Injecting extensions (MetaMask)
2. Relays (WalletConnect, MWP)
3. Embedded (burner wallets, Privy)
4. IFrame: Originally utilized by Safe (safe-apps-sdk), Farcaster is taking it to the next level with Mini Apps (fka Frames v2).

In a way, Mini Apps are bringing back the original dream of "web3", from the origin lore meaning which was a web injected connector that included 3 interfaces: eth, bzz, shh. That's when ethereum.js was renamed to web3.js.
