Have you looked at how many transactions a large token swap produces via an aggregator like Jupiter? Back in the Serum days, you could get hundreds of transactions to fill a single order.

It was a CLOB, so you'd have some transactions to make an order, some transactions to fill the order, some transactions to finalize, etc.

Also something like half of transactions return a failure code, AFAIU that's largely due to lack of mempool/racing to get in first/retry mechanics? https://dune.com/queries/830598/1451804
