Ok listen, I don't hate rich people, but can we just agree that "this person has too much money to grift" is not a real thing?

I can see an argument that there may be a positive relationship between being obsessed with accumulating wealth and having wealth, but I'm happy to just settle at a neutral "let's not correlate these things at all" middleground.

Are you saying people with a lot of money are more likely to grift?

This is where I stand as well, it takes a certain type of character to amass massive wealth and I think contrary to what @dwr.eth just commented below, it's much more likely for a wealthy person to grift. I'm excluding time around the French Revolution when people were a lot more moral :)
