A lot of debate on whether we have a duty to post on X: It's impossible to have a conversation with high profile accounts on X. I had a question for Gruber, tweeted but no reply; I tooted and he replied minutes later. X is just high profile accounts flexing on each other. Real conversations happen elsewhere.

Toot in question, for the curious: https://fosstodon.org/@shazow/112457235730461886 If I want to engage with someone and they have a farcaster account, I definitely prefer here over X. I've come to terms with no one seeing my tweets anymore unless they're retweeted dunks, that's just reality.
