1. Injecting extensions (MetaMask)
2. Relays (WalletConnect, MWP)
3. Embedded (burner wallets, Privy)
4. IFrame: Originally utilized by Safe (safe-apps-sdk), Farcaster is taking it to the next level with Mini Apps (fka Frames v2).

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

HMMM good point, how should we taxonomize this? I think Privy can work like this too? I expect a lot more of them.

That said, it's less of a connector and more of a native signer for an onchain wallet. Need to stew on this.

For completeness sake, there’s also browser-based passkey wallets that use popups e.g. coinbase smart wallet (I don’t know of any others so maybe not plural)
