I was aiming for #69 this week but accidentally overshot, then #30 was within reach so I started to grind... kinda burning out on it though. Probably good for the metrics, but not feeling very "cozy spaces" to me rn. I like sharing my younger self's art, but unsure how public I want it right now. Ideally I just want people who are really into it to get access to all of it and enjoy it, while also keeping it semi-private. That feels cozy. Not quite channels, preferably not crawlable, but also DM group feels off too. Need to keep thinking on it...

"Not quite channels, preferably not crawlable, but also DM group feels off too. Need to keep thinking on it..." *nod* That's kinda where my head is at lately too. I'm an admin for a great group chat taking place in Warpcast DCs, but we all struggle with following the flow of the ongoing topics because DCs aren't designed for long-form discussions. We'd like to carve out our own cozy corner in the Farcaster ecosystem. Ideally it would have both private and public sections or "branches." But we haven't found anything suitable.

š¤ must intensify the cozy! Curious to hear more about how you're experimenting and your findings! Related idea: https://warpcast.com/shazow.eth/0x8a298189 Something between group chats and channels, a secret third thing.

Happy to brainstorm. Something like this is much needed. We (myself and group chat co-admin @trigs) have been keeping a close eye out for what we need if we're ever going to move the group chat elsewhere. There seems to be plenty of interest in a Farcaster client designed to facilitate deep-dive discussions, but if there's anyone actually working on building it, we haven't found them yet. We'll also need some kind of non-extractive economic model to cover our admin costs sustainably ā without tokenizing in a way that turns the community into the product. Seems to be quite a tall order. For now, the private group chat will just stick with the status quo until we can find or build what we need... and in the meantime the public /slowcore-hq channel (which also needs a better space for slow-paced deep dives and preservation of evergreen topics) has gone into hibernation. https://warpcast.com/danicaswanson/0xe401b81e
