I always default to Warpcast unfortunately (for them) makes it hard for me to test the other apps regularly 


**Dope idea for ppl like me**:

Opt in for random client usage every time I open Warpcast or every week. Special UI that makes it easier to provide feedback and stay on an app for a long enough duration to full experience their UI 

A) lets me test and use new apps and provide feedback

B) Lets Farcaster grow beyond Warpcast (I assume you want this)

@dwr.eth I like this, extension of the idea: Could host a "Warpcast Rewards" equivalent thing but for third-party clients (maybe as a grant?).

Low competition + decent rewards over week-long activity = could be a good way to entice people to give third-party clients a real try, or more realistically: Third-party clients will get incredibly high-value feedback during that period.

Yup grants are great, love that you're doing that.

This is a different kind of grant , focused on user activity rewards that are shepherded by third-party clients rather than Warpcast.

Ideally using Farcaster should be a reward in of itself, but I think we agree that Warpcast Rewards have created some interesting meta and (at least temporarily) galvanized some activity.

Imagine for a moment we treat clients as their own ecosystems, take Recast.

Let's take the same idea but isolate it to users of Recast -- top N users over a week get $5-100 based on internal Recast metrics (tiny audience, less competition, still decent rewards). My thesis is that this will draw at least a few hundred people to be very active on Recast while the rewards are ongoing. Can cycle this program to different clients every couple weeks, moving the incentives around.

Positive externalities: Influx of *active* users for third-party clients, high-quality feedback from battletesting it for a week+, less competition from high profile accounts so more opportunity for smaller/niche accounts to do better.

Predicted outcome: More higher quality third party clients, more users using them.
