NFT question: Is there a minting platform that breaks an image into smaller segments (eg a grid) and people mint specific subsets of an image?

not that I know of, but this would be fun to build! one custom project I know of like this is:

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

but high-level, i like the idea of people minting just the part of an art piece that resonates with them -- maybe even allowing arbitrary shape splices? charge per pixel?
