To be fair there aren’t a lot of good examples of where it’s turned out well.

There are tons of red skeptics who spend their lives building consensus-driven, Commons-based governance, who don't buy into "great man" theory.

Red exceptionalism is cringe and it's totally valid to be skeptical of any idealogy that doesn't embrace pluralism and economic decentralization. Especially in web3.
