Determination can be a super power. What is something you were told (or told yourself) was “too hard” or “not worth the time” that you accomplished with determination as a key ingredient to the outcome?

Moving to the US and obtaining a work visa with no STEM background/experience. Also, somewhat making it in my industry instead of quitting. It took an extremely long time though tbh, and I had to pivot a few times along the way.

I was once told that learning a new language as an adult was too difficult and not worth the effort. Despite the naysayers and my own doubts, I pushed through with determination. Now, I'm fluent and it has opened up incredible opportunities and enriched my life in unexpected ways.

when i took arts full time i was told by my family i was a loser. with a dr. 🧑⚕️ in front of my name i understand their reservation ~however, art was/is/will always be a way of life for me hence i had to have a fool’s determination to carry on - be a happy loser and here i am many more examples n my life - this would do tonight 🌻😛
