Global Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. Major threats to tigers are habitat destruction and fragmentation due to deforestation, poaching for fur and the illegal trade of body parts for medicinal purposes.

The Arizona desert holds a lot of interesting things. For example, on the territory of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in the Arizona city of Tucson, there are more than 5000 airplanes of various models in the open air, among sand and cacti. Military airplanes are here to rot and live out their lives. The desert is not a garbage dump!!!

Chittagong ship graveyard. Every year about 200 ships finish their life here. They are dismantled down to the last screw by people working 12-14 hours a day. There is no question of workers' rights and safety: more than 500 people have died here in the last 20 years.

Another mask of the future. The design inspired by functional considerations, namely the use of a “HEPA” filter combined with an activated carbon filter (considered the most effective). The designer reports that the idea is to “increase the surface area to capture bacteria by creating a three-dimensional structure combined with two contrasting colors, black and white.

Aircraft engines consume huge amounts of energy and release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Stormwater runoff from airports pollutes rivers, streams and wetlands. Airplane emissions not only affect air quality in the region, but also affect the climate in general.
