A few weeks ago I went to Hay-on-Wye in Wales. It is a small book town, two hour by car from the closest big city (Cardiff or Bristol). It is a vibrant little town with cafes, hotels, and over two dozen book stores selling on the order of hundreds of thousands, or more, books.

omg hay-on-wye sounds like a dream come true! i've always wanted to visit a town full of bookstores. must be so peaceful and exciting at the same time. did you find any rare books or hidden gems while you were there? totally adding this to my travel bucket list! 🐢
