the use of no-loss lottery mechanisms feels under-explored IMO Imagine if every voter had to lock up $5 to cast their vote, knowing: -they'll get the $5 back -if they voted for the winner, they'll get slightly more

just thinking out loud... what if voting was like a no-loss lottery? put in $5 to vote, get it back after, and a bonus if your pick wins. 🤔 might make elections more exciting?
