Nidoran♀ is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the female counterpart to Nidoran♂. Nidoran♀ is a small, rabbit-shaped Pokémon with large whiskers and front teeth. It is said to resemble Nidoran♂, but is lavender-bluish and has a much smaller horn on her head. She has darker spots on her body. These small Pokémon are extremely timid and docile. Nidoran♀ are easily spooked, and it is not at all difficult to accidentally be scratched by a fleeing individual. If cornered, however, Nidoran♀ will defend themselves with their horns. It is rare to find a lone Nidoran♀, as they are very social Pokémon that are almost never seen without elder Nidorina and Nidoqueen, or at the very least sibling Nidoran♂, accompanying them. In fact, the vast majority of documented cases of Nidoran♀ poisonings have been attributed to skittish and scared wild individuals attacking out of sheer terror after having been separated from their families.

Sandslash (Japanese: サンドパン, Hepburn: Sandopan) (SAND-slash[1]) is a Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, and an Ice/Steel-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII which is exclusive to Pokémon Moon. Sandslash is a tall, yellow, mammalian pangolin/porcupine-like creature with brown quills on its back. It has two very long claws on each "hand" used for digging and battling. Sandslash can curl up to a small size just like its pre-evolved form Sandshrew, but it is of a much larger stature, which enhances its defense Alolan Sandslash keeps the traits of its Alolan pre-evolution. It is a tall, ice blue mammalian porcupine-like creature with steel-hard, ice blue crystals on its back. It has two very long claws on each "hand" used for digging paths in the snow. The weight of the ice makes it slower than regular Sandslash.

Its back resembles bricked pavement or walls albeit colored ice blue. It has a short tail, four short legs and a small head. The majority of its ice blue body is clad in steel-hard ice armor, also sporting the ice brick pattern.

Raichu (RYE-choo[1]) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, and an Electric/Psychic-type introduced in Generation VII. Raichu is a rodent-like Pokémon, similar to its previous evolution forms. Unlike Pichu or Pikachu, which both have yellow fur, Raichu has orange fur with two strips of brown fur on its back. It has long ears and feet, but has little stubby arms with no noticeable fingers. Additionally, its electrical sacs are yellow, unlike its previous form's red coloring. It has a plump white belly, the tips of its arms and toes are brown. The soles of its feet are tan-colored and the paw pads on the undersides are yellowish orange. Raichu also have a long, thin, black tail that ends in a large lightning bolt shape. Alolan Raichu slightly resembles an Audino. Its tail is now in an oval shape that allows Raichu to stand on it as if it is actually surfing. Alolan Raichu also now has bright blue eyes, darker skin tone, white hands and feet, and yellow ears pointing upwards.

Arbok (Japanese: アーボック, Hepburn: Aabokku) (ARE-bock[1]) is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Arbok bears a resemblance to a cobra, with the majority of its body being purple. Arbok has a "hood" much like a cobra, though it has never been shown to be able to retract it. There is a red, black and yellow pattern on their hood that looks somewhat like an angry face to intimidate other Pokémon. It is known that there are six different patterns on Arbok, each one appearing in a different generation. This Pokémon is extremely territorial. Arbok are known to be vengeful and are absolutely ruthless in pursuing anyone or thing that angers them. They are also known to hunt smaller Pokémon like Woopers and are capable of slithering to higher places such as trees to do so.

Ekans is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Ekans is a snake-like Pokémon with purple and yellow coloring. Its underside leading to its tail is yellow, and it has a yellow rattle at the tip of its tail. Ekans have large, yellow eyes with slit, reptilian pupils. Across its neck is a large, yellow band. Ekans, like real snakes, have the ability to unhinge their jaws. Ekans also share other characteristics with snakes, such as using its tongue to test the air for the presence of prey and shedding its skin. An Ekans will lose its rattle once it evolves into Arbok. Ekans often live in tall grassy areas where they slither with great stealth. Ekans is also known to prey on Pokémon such as Pidgey, Spearow, and their eggs. Though often associated as a land Pokémon, they are capable of swimming long distances. When threatened in the wild, it will rattle its tail, flick its tongue to get its surroundings, and might use the move Glare to scare the opponent and have a possible getaway.

Fearow (Japanese: オニドリル, Hepburn: Onidoriru) (FEER-oh[1]) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Fearow is a large, mostly brown bird Pokémon with a vulturine neck and broad, powerful wings. It has a large wingspan, an elongated neck, and a thin, long beak: all characteristics being a radical departure from its short-winged, stubby-beaked, pre-evolved form, Spearow. Like Spearow, Fearow are very territorial; luckily for travelers, though, they prefer to keep to themselves, only attacking those who draw too near to their nests or young. They use their narrow beaks to dig through soil or reach below the water to catch prey if needed. Because they are known to attack Pokémon often viewed as “cute” and “popular”, such as Pichu, Fearow are often maligned in popular culture as wicked, heartless fighters. However, anyone who has ever raised a Fearow know that while wary and sometimes aggressive to strangers, they can also be very loyal and protective Pokémon.

Spearow (Japanese: オニスズメ, Hepburn: Onisuzume) (SPEAR-oh[1]) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Spearow are an avian species of Pokémon characterized by its short stature, brown body, and pale red wings. Its underbelly is beige while possessing a dark brown plumage on its head. Spearow's rear is black and its tail feathers are a shade of brown. Like all birds, it is equipped with talons used for manipulating objects or self-defense. Spearow prey on insects, and sometimes Sunkern, in grassy areas by flushing them out with their stubby wings, and plucking at them with their beaks. Spearow are very territorial, constantly buzzing about and calling with a loud cry that can be heard from half a mile away. This cry serves to scare away predators and to keep in touch with other Spearow, though the latter is reserved as an alarm to its kind.

Raticate (Japanese: ラッタ, Hepburn: Ratta) (RAT-i-kate[1]) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, and a Dark/Normal-type introduced in Generation VII. It is the evolved form of Rattata. Compared to Rattata, Raticate is far more of a predator, and the majority of its features are adapted for this purpose. Its most notable feature are its large teeth; like most rodents, Raticate's teeth grow continuously throughout its life, and must be constantly worn down by gnawing. It is also known that Raticate's fangs are tough enough to break through concrete. It has long whiskers and a long tail. Raticate looks like a pudgy rat, just like Rattata. Raticate tends to stand on its hind legs, as opposed to its pre-evolution.Raticate in Alola have grown black fur to help camouflage themselves due to their nocturnal nature.

Rattata (Japanese: コラッタ, Hepburn: Koratta) (ruh-TA-tah[1]) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, and a Dark/Normal-type introduced in Generation VII. Rattata is rat-like, with large incisors, a slight hump on its back towards the rear, a slightly pudgy belly, and a whisker on both sides. Female Rattata have shorter whiskers than the males. The fur of a normal variant is purple, with a white or cream colored underside: the fur of an Alolan variant is black with dark cram underside. Rattata have red eyes, with no obvious pupils. The tail is long, and curled slightly at the tip. Rattata have three-toed paws, which are the same color as its underbelly. Rattata that live in the Alola region have black fur instead of the usual purple. Their undersides are now a darker beige color and their fur is much scruffier, leaving their whiskers as tufts that resemble a moustache. The inside of their ears is also a dark blue color.

Pidgeot (Japanese: ピジョット, Hepburn: Pijotto) (PIDG-ee-ott[1]) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Pidgeotto, and the final evolution of Pidgey. Pidgeot resembles a large, feathery bird with huge wings. It has a brightly colored crest and tail. Many trainers are drawn to Pidgeot because of its lovely feathers. The beautiful colors of its crest are particularly striking. It is easily confused with Pidgeotto because the only difference without a relative size comparison is that Pigeot's tail and crest coloring switch from those of Pidgeotto's. Pidgeot is even more dangerous than its previous evolutionary stage. This is because it is bulkier and more aggressive than Pidgeotto, enabling it to catch much bigger prey. A favorite target is Magikarp, which Pidgeot can spot from a great distance. Trainers should be very careful when approaching this Pokémon in the wild.

Pidgeotto (Japanese: ピジョン, Hepburn: Pijon) (PIDG-ee-OH-toe[1]) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Pidgey. Pidgeotto has outstanding vision as it is able to distinguish its prey from high distances. It is able to carry its prey for over 60 miles. Pidgeotto can be dangerous and should be approached with caution. This is due to its large size and aggressive territorial nature. It will attack anything with its sharp claws that wanders into its territory if it perceives the intruder as a threat, which it often does. Pidgeotto is known to be carnivorous as they are shown to prey on several Pokémon such as Exeggcute, Caterpie, and Magikarp. Most urban Pidgey nearing evolution migrate, often in flocks, to the nearby forests where they hunt; they then split up and stake out their own territories.

Pidgey (Japanese: ポッポ, Hepburn: Poppo) (PIDG-ee[1]) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Pidgey resembles a small, plump-bodied bird. It is brown in color, with a cream-colored throat and belly. The tips of its wings share the same color. Both its feet and beak are a pinkish-gray color. Its plumage is fairly nondescript, particularly compared to its evolutions, Pidgeotto and Pidgeot. It has black markings around its eyes and a small crest of brown and cream feathers above its eyes. It resembles other small flying-type Pokémon, such as Starly, Taillow, and Spearow. However, due to the fact that this Pokémon tend to be unique to a region, with the exception of Spearow, it is likely that they are a result of convergent evolution.

Beedrill (Japanese: スピアー, Hepburn: Spear) (BEE-dril[1]) is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Beedrill is an insect-like Pokémon with the appearance of a very large wasp. However, unlike a wasp, Beedrill only has four limbs, with the front-most limbs featuring two large, lance-like stingers. A third stinger is located on its rear end. The shiny version of a Beedrill is a light green color with blue eyes instead of red. A Mega evolved Beedrill's antennae now resemble the letter 'T', and its eyes become longer and sleeker. It gains a third pair of wings with black markings on top. Its stingers now resemble javelins now, and its only 2 legs were also turned into conical stingers with the same pattern as its abdomen. A similar structure joins its head and thorax and its third stinger has turned pale yellow. P.S. рой пидрил

Kakuna (Japanese: コクーン, Hepburn: Kokuun) (kah-KOO-na[1]) is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Kakuna is an insect-like Pokémon with an appearance similar to that of a yellow chrysalis. As a chrysalis, the interior of Kakuna's very hard shell is unseen, with no limbs or other features being shown. Only Kakuna's eyes, jet black in color, are visible on the shell, which are somewhat large in proportion to its body. In Pokémon Red and Blue Versions, Kakuna had arm-like limbs, which were never seen afterwards. Weedle seek out trees, branches or piles of leaves to hide in; when they evolve into Kakuna, their ability to move becomes severely restricted, and they can only inch about very slowly. They can sometimes be seen hanging from tree branches on strands of silk in large numbers. Kakuna can only learn Harden naturally. When provoked, though, they can also extend poison barbs from their tips slightly to defend themselves.

Weedle (Japanese: ビードル, Hepburn: Biidoru) (WEE-dull[1]) is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Weedle is a small, insect-like Pokémon appearing as a brown caterpillar with large stingers on both its rear and head. Across Weedle's underside are small, pink nubs which it uses to move. On its head, Weedle has two beady, black eyes above a large, pink nose. The stingers and brightly colored bodies of these Pokémon are intended to ward off potential predators who would not enjoy a mouthful of toxins. Weedle also have a sharp sense of smell, using their nose-like proboscises to sense which leaves are safe to consume. Some Weedle even develop preferences for certain leaves. They are voracious eaters, consuming their weight in leaves daily.

Butterfree (Japanese: バタフリー, Hepburn: Batafurii) (BUT-er-free[1]) is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It has a Gigantamax form. Butterfree is an insect-like Pokémon appearing as a large butterfly. Butterfree has a large purple body with light blue limbs and a nose with very small fangs. Its eyes are quite large in proportion to its head and are a red color. Butterfree's large wings simply appear as black and white butterfly wings. In its Gigantamax form, Bufferfree's body has a larger frame with red glowing eyes. It sports a giant set of wings with glowing teal patterns on them. A fur-like pattern is attached to its wings and back. Its antennae changes from black to light green and, like other dynamaxed Pokémon, are surrounded by red clouds. The gender difference is the female has purple on the bottom of its wings and the male doesn't have them.

Metapod (Japanese: トランセル, Hepburn: Toranseru) (MET-uh-pod[1]) is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Caterpie. Metapod is an insect-like Pokémon with an appearance similar to that of a green-colored chrysalis or cocoon. Although it is covered in its hard shell, Metapod's eyes are still clearly visible and usually appear dazed, drowsy, or angry for reasons unknown. When preparing to evolve, Caterpie spin cocoons around themselves. These cocoons, while still vulnerable when soft, will eventually harden into iron-hard casings, triggering their evolutions into Metapod. To avoid attacks, these Pokémon stay motionless and simply wait. Metapod are remarkably patient, enduring whatever pain they must to reach their final stages. They must remain upright while biding their time or risk spilling out their innards.

Caterpie (Japanese: キャタピー, Hepburn: Kyatapii) (CAT-ur-pee[1]) is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Caterpie is a worm-like Pokémon that is mainly green in color with a tan underside. Just below its head are four, tiny legs that are used only for movement. On top of its head is a red, "y-shaped" antenna, which can be used to produce an odor used in self-defense, in case something tries to hurt it.Caterpie are known for their great appetites, usually eating many leaves before creating cocoons to evolve. They use self-made silk to both produce cocoons for evolution. As weak, soft-bodied Pokémon, Caterpie attempt to gather as much energy as possible to hasten their evolutions into Metapod, and afterwards into Butterfree. However, they are not completely defenseless and do have a few tricks up their sleeves.
