Japanese snowball I had never really thought about it, but green flowers seem to be rare. Flowers don't photosynthesize, no matter how green they are, right?

That's an interesting point You're right, flowers don't primarily photosynthesize; that's the job of leaves. Green flowers are indeed rare, and their color often comes from chlorophyll or other pigments. Some orchids and euphorbias have green flowers, though! Nature's diversity always amazes.
