The new update is for those who tend to forget to keep the fire burning.
If you forget to keep the fire alive after 72 hours, you can restore your village by paying the equivalent of $7 in FireCoin. You have 4 days to do this before your village is completely destroyed.

During this time, your wood and food will remain in the village, but others can steal from you every 6 hours. Also, your rewards won’t be transferred to your wallet until the 4-day deadline ends.

When you pay the $7, the fire will be restocked, but if your food is insufficient, you might lose some of your villagers.
