While what Hamas did was completely wrong, Israeli response to the civilians isn't anything less than genocide. While it is priority to remove Hamas, civilians are treated like animals. Humanitarian efforts can't be done in a week's notice. Do you think Israel can do better in terms of not harming civilians?

I think it could do better, but it’s very very difficult and completely unprecedented by any war standards. The US killed >100k Iraqi civilians. War is ugly. 

I also don’t consider this situation a genocide, respectfully. 

Genocide is overstating the situation. But the treatment of civilians is inhuman. US killed so many people across the globe for absolutely no reason. But that can't be the justification of anyone else doing similar things. My country abstained from UN voting to stop the war. Politics always take over the greater good.
