Bonding curves reward earlier adopters which helps solve the cold start problem 

they incentivize users to participate early

also important to note that not all bonding curves are equally and many are designed differently (linear, exponential, logarithmic)

This is interesting, I was not aware of this. I still think @samuellhuber.eth makes a good argument. Why would I be interested if the game only serves earlier adopters and I am just exit liquidity?
