@thedude recently mentioned he wished he could adopt a dog, and I told him I run a stray dog shelter. 
I appreciated his belief in adoption over buying, especially since our shelter is overpopulated and always in need of support.

His kindness surprided me so much — he reached out and offered ETH to help with shelter costs (AND HE DID). 

This generous gesture means the world to us, reminding me that there are truly caring people out there.
