seeing all of these asteroids casts by @jessepollak and @base  made me feel nostalgic….  here’s why…

back when asteroids had just came out for the Atari 2600, my dad needed surgery on his hand

my parents decided that instead of having someone watch my brother and i while my dad went in for surgery, 
they bought us asteroids to entertain us for the day…

by the time they came home, we each had high scores of over 1 million

still have that game (and the 2600)…
