outside of manual labor or football practice i don't remember drinking straight up water until my early 20s. grade school was milk, sunnyD, hi-c kool-aid, juice from frozen concentrate, sodas. then coffee, more soda, gatorade, beer, wine. bottled water becoming a thing seemed like the biggest scam of all time.

so true!   when bottled water came out, i thought the same thing!   

only really had water on hot summer days-my dad got an adapter to our sink faucet that turned it into a drinking fountain...

i still feel that the michigan adding flouride to our water contributed to me (and my brother) never having cavaities...
