glad @burrrrrberry was able to host the degen spaces looks like a number of people were banned by using a method (mcdegen) that @jacek approved of and casted about many times. i am very much against instituting something, promoting it, and then banning people because they used it... not very degen if you ask me.... https://warpcast.com/~/search/recent?q=from%3Ajacek+mint.club

i want to add that I really want to see the degen project succeed and casted a long a thoughtful message to jacek regarding steps that i would recommend taking for degen (see below). A lot of people have been banned… not just for using this. Almost everyone I know. People like me who have been here every single day for over a year.

changing the rules right before claim makes no sense. if anything, implement new rules at the start of each season. this make no sense to me. and I am all for degen and always have been! I truly want it to succeed, but it making me nervous how. it's reminding me of what happened with $farther. eventually all the abrupt rule changes and bans upset the community and tanked the token to zero.

Retroactive punishment of an unknown rule has always been a community spirit breaker. For one, maybe look at the users who have abused the system the most (by passing maximum allowances) and confiscate from there? As a a start? The tipping rings as per se, could have been wrangled with earlier before the season started, or even in the first week of launching. Not in the last 72hrs of the season. You can't blame the users when the management lacked the foresight to prevent, or even address these issues earlier. Should have been vocal about it from the get go. And yes, being vocal and transparent about it, is actually a sign of good leadership - not daggers in the dark. And yes, farmers will adapt, and that is why it's always going to be a battle. While I love the rollover system for Degen, this actually helped people with their 15x T4T rule, because they could roll larger tips in to one for those kind of reciprocated action. For better or worse, with some foresight these things could have been curbed.

yeah, same thoughts about this, they rush to promote and promote mcdegen without any worries about over tiping or farming? well is hard to believe that they haven't think about it 🤷‍♂️

I agree that it's unfair to promote something and then ban it, especially when people have invested in it. Clear and fair policies are crucial.

I totally agree with you, banning something that you yourself started, skipping its own rules where it was allowed to reciprocate "Tips" up to 15 times, makes no sense to me. It is playing with the community, if the rules were clear from the beginning, of course everyone would have been in the right lane. For me all this is unfair, everyone deserves to claim their points this season, apply your rules for next season, be clear and transparent and who does not follow them, you can ban him and no one will complain, but this way, humiliating the community just because it is their token. When you launch a project it ceases to be 100% yours, degen is what it is today because of the community, without it it would be just another shitcoin without support. Sorry to sound a bit annoying, but I am annoyed by injustices.
