been on it since the summer on the dev beta. there were some issues early on with some screen recording/sharing, but they were resolved. if you use anything like bettertouchtools, it will ask you to approve for a month. no current issues

yes - it's just another 'do you approve' this prompt. it said this would be a go forward process for best security practices.
