I’m loving Moxie, having a blast with friends. Oh my god so good. I should just wait until 6 pm when I am good and out to start replying to all the "Did you take this picture?" "What IPhone did you take this with?" "Is this AI?" I know they are MOXIE baiting me, but god damn, I want to throw my 15 lbs of gear that I hauled up a fucking mountain right at their face when they asked me what Iphone I used to take the picture with. For fuck's sake!

but is it a tripod that just holds an iphone? 😂 on a serious note - my canon blows my iphone out of the water and when i want to take 'real' pictures, i'm using it...

the more challenging the light that you are in, the more the canon or an slr or a mirrorless camera will do better, same with drones, but in regular daylight, drones and iPhones will do pretty well, as you get towards dusk or especially night, things may fall apart

Exactly! And tbf.... I love talking photo tech.. but with people who know what I am talking about. If I post a photo of a bear in the woods and a fellow photographer asks what lens I used because 300mm means "wow, you've got steady hands!" and 10 mm means "Holy shit! Why are you still alive?", that's a fun conversation to have. When someone completely random presses me on what camera I used on a shot I took 7 years ago... like... fuck off. I am not digging through my meta data to determine whether this shot was from before or after I dropped my D5200 in a river, because we both know you don't know what those numbers mean nor do you actually care.
