i agree that open sources aligns interests in a similar way, the presence of tokens as agency/voice/votingownership devices gives blockchain networks more teeth

this is not unique to blockchain, but rather to open source. the incentive system is utility, in perhaps a more successful model, up till now, than blockchain.
what would be the example of "handing over control"?

thats more true w trad startups than daos imho.  multisig adoption is a sign of emotional intelligence no?

Then founders usually have ego fights, they fork the genesis idea to different directions and the whole process repeat itself until our universe dies. I love decentralization.
