AirBnB started as a tool to let you earn on underutilized space in your home.

Either way you've committed to monthly payment but with AirBnB you can let others 'rent' space that you don't use anyway.

You get an extra income to recoup some of the rent cost. Others get space by attractive price when they need it.

On the other hand we have a lot of people who don't want to commit because they need this product just once or more rarely than you. Yes, like shared room on AirBnB.

We have 'Sellers' that have accumulated unused hours and 'Buyers' that need these hours to 'rent' the apps via Pay-As-You-Go model.

How it works.

Based on your screen time DePlan defines how much underutilized hours are left for each app this month. These hours are tokenized on blockchain.

1 underutilized hour of the app = 1 app's token that you own and can trade.

Rental price is average between Real and Ideal $/hr prices.

For example average usage of the app is 10 hours per month. Subscription price is $10/mo. That means Real price is $1/hour.

Ideal price is $10/mo divided by all monthly hours of your smartphone usage. If you use device 4 hours a day that means 120 hours a month. Ideal price is $10 ÷ 120hrs = $0.083/hr.

In total, rental price starts from $0.54/hr (average between $1 and $0.083) and varies based on ongoing supply and demand for accumulated hours.

When somebody 'rents' the app via Pay-As-You-Go with $/hour pricing they only pay for the time they actually use this app. For example if the price is $0.54/hour and the app was used for 30 minutes they will pay $0.27

That money is split between subscriber and app. DePlan gets modest %.

Products always fight the customers churn.

Thanks for your feedback, but it's totally opposite - their revenue will increase because money from selling underutilized hours is split between subscriber and the products. We don't violate their terms because do it together with them.

Admittedly, I only glanced at this real quick because I’m on mobile so apologies if guy addressed this already…

Won’t virtually every company offering a monthly service say this violates their T&Cs? 

This would significantly decrease their revenue while adding to their costs.
