Some communities I am in, already switching to TG (telegram) channels instead of FC, as the current means of moderating not cutting it.

do you have any examples of specific complaints?

From my side it looks like they rushed that release. Launching a new feature without the ecosystem. 
They should have allow channel owners to switch gradually or release their own (made by the farcaster team) tool to moderate channels in the same way it was possible before.

From the UX point, the normal (non dev) user are now forced to do their own research on moderation tools, trust 3rd parties and check/setup different tools to find the one that "cuts it".

If there would be "migrate to the new moderation tool by FC team" button right in warpcast, would hit different.
