WSJ: Trump's office collected about $3 million in donations in crypto assets

The team of US presidential candidate Donald Trump collected about $3 million in donations in crypto assets in the second quarter of 2024, reports the Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, Trump's office received:

- $1.8 million in bitcoins (BTC);
- $900,000 in Ethereum (ETH);
- $300 in Dogecoin (DOGE);
- $100 in Shiba Inu (SHIB). 

Among the first to support the presidential candidate were brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, founders of the Gemini exchange. Jesse Powell, co-founder of the Kraken exchange, also made a cryptocurrency donation.
