According to Digital Currency, he stated in an interview that the central banks of the world are afraid of keeping US bonds due to the risk of confiscation by the US government. Grumman believes that other investors will also sell their holdings due to the higher potential of Bitcoin, gold and stocks than bonds. He emphasizes that the U.S. government cannot afford to raise interest rates because of its massive debt, which makes other asset classes more attractive to investors.
