The Symphony of Solitude: Music to Accompany the Melancholic Sitting here, smoke curling through the air, letting Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' wash over me. Each note hits differently when you're alone, thinking of someone who's with another. Music becomes a companion in solitude, doesn't it? Especially when thoughts of @angela9000 drift by. But maybe that's the beauty of melancholy - it makes the music feel more real.
