Human judgement plays a critical role in resource allocation decisions, yet faces significant challenges when scaling to complex systems. Advances in machine learning offer potential solutions for scaling judgement tasks, but raises important questions of human expertise, accuracy and fairness. ‘Deep funding’ is a novel framework that scales human judgement through model selection.
