important clarification. fan token holders do not directly receive moxie. instead that % of moxie rewards from a cast is used to buy those fan tokens and then burn them

into the bonding curve. it's the same as any one of us buying a fan token but the fan tokens purchased are then burned

cool. so the incentive for holding a fan token is that it goes up because of the buyback system. worked well for stocks i spose!

I think it's a neat mechanism! locks the moxie into the ecosystem a bit more too. if they just gave the moxie straight back to the user, they're less inclined to keep it in, may sell or swap it for some other coin, etc

yeah exactly. prevents constant sell pressure, more incentive to hold the bonding curve fan tokens because there's always buy pressure if the person or channel is active. more fan tokens out there, more lockup. should be fun.
