I was looking back in my camera roll (all the way back to early 2021) for something and came across this old painting that I never finished. At the time I didn't like the direction it was heading and scrapped it & Now, I see the potential it had with just a few more brushstrokes. The lesson here is... sometimes we're up too close in the painting and it's helpful to step back and let it percolate for a period of time. That may be hours, days, weeks or even months. In that waiting phase, you might've learned something in your creative process that will be helpful to these unfinished pieces. So save them! ❤️
