GM Frens šŸ’œ What are the white spots on a humpback whale? This is a colony of parasitic organisms (commensals) called barnacles. These organisms attach themselves to the whales' bodies and live and reproduce on for life. Although it is often thought that whales breaching and crashing into the water may be a way to rid themselves of some of these parasites, they actually aren't affected by this organisms in any biologically harmful way šŸ“ø Unknown
