Do you sometimes feel like there is a disconnect between the micro and the macro: even though you help other people, through business, to achieve their own goals - does your work also somehow address the challenges of humanity? Does it have to? Or is helping others enough to make the world a better place?

Because of the limits subjectivity, I like to make a point of it not to pass judgement. My ideas get richer, because I always have access to the opposite POV. But what if some other belief stands in the way of effectuating what I stand for? Should I abstain from exerting power - or try to change the world anyway?

Madrid is super safe although the municipality has an insane obsession with spending all the budget on private security contractors. In the Netherlands, there's been a steady influx of migrants, many are left in camps and prohibited from participating in society (no rights). Worse for the migrants than citizens imo.

Whether Hegelian dialectic can be logically formalized is a debate. I recommend starting with Frege if you're interested. Most current work on logic is being done in UK/US. Heard Amsterdam has a good faculty too.
