Some thoughts about onboarding creators.

The more conversations I have with artists - the more clear it is that no one really cares or thinks about crypto at all.

It's a weird new world that they've heard about but don't actively care to be a part of because they don't understand it.

The "pull" isn't there like it used to be. Sure they can make more money - but often at the expense of cannabalizing their existing audience.

I say this because now is a crucial crucial phase for crypto to onboard meaningful talent and seems like everyone is caught in this trough trying to a) get the best creators onchain and then b) drive enough demand to those releases to get them to come back again

Artists aren't naturally drawn to crypto. It feels complex and potentially isolates their existing audience. The incentive needs to be clearer and more aligned with their artistic goals beyond just potential profit. Simplifying the process and highlighting tangible creative benefits is key for meaningful onboarding.
