No MLS cards on auction, I wonder if they are finally going to try something to launch cards before the season starts for a change. Would be nice!

Would be nice but i doubt it. I always see people bash Sorare for running auctions into the season knowing they lose 5% xp. Should be a nice bump to the secondary though!!!

Ah okay. He was asked about mint rates and timing to support the new in season game format: “Yeah I think with the new model you need to adjust this and so you need to be much earlier and so we will. So it’s lots of work going on with the partners to make sure that yes you can launch way earlier in the season.”

Dang that’s awesome! Hopefully they pressed the leagues on the importance of it. Some clubs still probably dont “trust” web3 and wont prioritize sorare haha

Well the clubs must have player pictures pretty early on for their own marketing so I don’t see why it should take a month post season start to get onto a sorare card unless they are doing a hefty review. I think sorare should just launch new season card design with old pictures and just refresh meta data when ready.

I dont hate the idea of them releasing placeholder cards while the get everything in order. Its always a talking point at the start of seasons. Hopefully they figured it out Even if you look at traditional cards(topps, panini) they don’t release new season cards for a few months into the season
