I'm probably not expert enough - but these look pretty dark roast and I think you're looking for general uniformity and not a lot of broken beans is that right, @hodlbeethyname

Those for sure do appear to be on the dark side in terms of roast level. Taste is subjective so it really depends on what you're looking to experience with coffee. Some people prefer a darker roast / more bitter flavor profile (think leathers/earthy/tobacco) however the trend over the last 10 years or so has been a move towards more medium roast coffees to preserve and highlight more fruity/floral/chocolate type of nites. My best advice is to brew those beans up and taste for yourself and see if it fits the profile of flavor you're looking for. If you feel it is on the bitter end of what you're looking for you can try for a more medium roast next time. Good luck!🙌☕
