Wen revolution? Just kidding, well sort of. I’m soliciting feedback on a thing which I think has the potential to be revolutionary. Not enough of you know I spent most of the last decade in the non-profit space focusing on CC0/Open Data environmental monitoring. 1/

Again, I’m only half kidding. @hlkt.eth @karienbez and @teleyinex.eth are some of the smartest and most thoughtful people in the world and we’ve spent years talking about the problems inherent in traditional philanthropy. (We wrote a book about it in fact, that’s another story). 3/

We’ve also spent a lot of time talking about web3 and blockchains and power dynamics and how the shifts we’re witnessing in web3 have the potential to turn the entire world of philanthropy upside down and burn the wretched rotting corpse of the old systems to ash and we immediately started lighting matches. 4/

The Respair Project is our first stab at stabbing 🔪 . We have some ideas, some we want to build on, some we want to refine a bit more. We’re looking for some feedback on early iterations and some friends who want to join us on this journey, or help us map out the path we’re going to forge. 5/

This isn’t perfect yet, and might have typos, but it’s the first step. One of many. There are 3 primary silos we think we can build for - for projects, for leaders, and for crisis. We decided that rather than in our DMs, Farcaster would be a good place to start public talking these through. 6/
