In the last two months, @base has seen a sharp rise in tokens created and token creators on launchpads like Virtuals, Clanker, Zora, Apestore, and Rainbow, with over 400K tokens created and 70K token creators per month.
This sharp increase is mostly driven by the launch of Zora Coins, which last month accounted for 90% of both tokens created and token creators.
Tokens launched on Base launchpads generated $10B in DEX volume over the last 6 months, with a monthly all-time high in January 2025 of over $4B in DEX volume. In the past three months, monthly DEX volume of these tokens has stayed above $500M.
We analyzed token volume by the token factory where tokens were created. Virtuals and Clanker have led over the past six months, but Zora gained traction last month, reaching 25% of the volume, compared to 47% for Virtuals and 22% for Clanker. 1 reply
